Most days you can find me wearing my apron, serving my husband and our children, caring for our home, embracing natural remedies, sourcing our food from local farmers and growing what I can in the limited space we have, canning, preserving and getting elbow to elbow with our kids in the kitchen while prepping a pantry for our family.
Serving your family, it's almost an uncommon term now days. Preparing dinner, cutting up the children's food, taking your husband's plate to him first, pouring him what he would like to drink, and then making your plate last. It feels old fashioned, doesn't it? Like how your grandmother used to do?
Between work, family, and all the rest of life's demands, it can be tough to keep it all together. But I believe that serving your family is as much of a needed skill in today's society as building a house or a fence, learning to grow a garden or even going to college. And while it's one of the best jobs in the world, it's also one of the most challenging.
I'm here to help you bring forgotten skills back into the heart of your home so that you can grow as a homemaker and serve and tend to your family with joy and not overwhelm.
